Ingredients
Butter | 150g |
Sugar | 170g |
Eggs | 2 medium |
Flour | 300g |
Dark Baking Chocolate | 200g |
Baking Powder | 2 tsp |
Salt | 1 tsp |
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Add the flour a little at a time, as well as the baking powder, and salt.
- Chop the chocolate into small chunks and fold into the dough.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper, or use a non stick tray or silicon mat.
- Scoop out small balls of dough and place them on the tray, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 10 minutes, until golden brown around the edges.
- Remove from the oven, carefully transfer to a wire rack or plate, and let cool.
- Enjoy!
Tip !
Refrigerate the dough a little before baking to make it easier to handle.
If you have one, use a stand mixer or hand mixer to cream the butter and sugar together, and to mix in the other ingredients.
